Dillingham Construction International Inc. (DCII), in cooperation with USAID, the Philippine Assistance Program Support and the Coordinating Council for the Philippine Assistance Program, built the General Santos Airport, a modern, world-class international airport with the 3rd longest runway in the Philippines capable of accommodating the landing and takeoff of Boeing 747s and Airbus A380s.
The new airport is in the beautiful and rapidly developing urban center and gateway to the Central Mindanao Region, the second largest island in the Philippines.
